BrikLog Privacy Policy

BrikLog is a construction diary app used to manage projects, daily site logs, site photos, project documents, PDF exports, subscription status and limited anonymous diagnostics.
Information BrikLog Processes
Depending on how the app is used, BrikLog may process:
- project data entered by the user
- daily log entries entered by the user
- site photos and document files selected or captured by the user
- document metadata and OCR text stored by the user inside the app
- voice input used by the device speech recognition service when the user starts voice entry
- approximate project location or project city used only when the user requests automatic weather
- Google Play purchase and subscription verification data needed to confirm paid plans
- limited anonymous technical and usage events used to improve reliability and product quality
How Information Is Used
- to provide project, diary, photo, document and PDF export features
- to support optional voice input
- to support optional automatic weather lookup
- to verify paid subscription status through Google Play billing and BrikLog billing infrastructure
- to monitor app reliability and product usage through limited anonymous telemetry
Data Minimization
BrikLog does not use advertising SDKs and does not sell personal data.
Project files, photos, OCR notes and other job-site records are primarily stored locally on the user device unless the user explicitly shares exported files.
Billing Verification
Billing verification is performed through secure communication with Google Play services and BrikLog server infrastructure in order to confirm active subscription entitlements.
Anonymous Telemetry
Anonymous telemetry sent by BrikLog is intentionally limited and does not include project names, document contents, OCR text, notes, email addresses or other directly identifying profile information.
Optional Voice and Weather Features
If the user chooses voice input, speech may be processed by the device speech recognition service. If the user chooses automatic weather, project city or derived coordinates may be used to request weather data from the weather provider.
User Control
Users control the project data, photos and documents they enter into the app. If a user shares exported PDFs or documents, that sharing action is initiated by the user.
